Operating as a beloved bed and breakfast for over two decades, the property was transformed in 2019 when new owners Alea and Ashley LaRocque took over. With a vision rooted in warmth, design, and personalized service, the couple reimagined the guest experience, infusing the property with fresh energy, thoughtful amenities, and a refined mountain aesthetic. Their most notable addition? Colorado’s first and only luxury treehouse hotel, launched in 2025.

Denali, the lodge dog (part Cattle Dog, part Corgi), is shy but sweet. A rescue pup with a heartwarming backstory, she’s become a beloved part of the guest experience. If you’re lucky, she might even curl up beside you on the green couch.
