A Family Story, Rewritten
The Pommier story began decades ago with a small roadside motel in Indianola, Iowa. The family’s daughters learned hospitality the hard way, scrubbing rooms, answering phones, and stocking supplies, gaining an early education in real service.
After years away in the corporate world, one daughter returned in 2019 to take over the family property. With help from her family and the support of the local community, she transformed the dated motel into Hotel Pommier—a warm, modern stay that celebrates small-town character.
