Fox Mountain Inn, a charming 10-room roadside motel established in the 60’s and  is conveniently situated at exit 84 on I-81 in Max Meadows, Virginia.

Offering a serene escape, the Inn provides tranquil and spotless rooms with a personal touch. Owned by Photographers Jim and Michelle Overdorff as of September 2024. Avid motorcyclists, they fell in love with the area and both looking for a change of pace that could incorporate their love of motorcycling, photography, and people., found FMI to be just what they were looking for. Their love of animals has kept FMI pet friendly and their need to have a place that welcomes everyone to sit and chat around the fire or engage in a peaceful welcoming environment, to fall back in time when life was simpler, and people were friendly, Our mission is to not only offer comfortable accommodations but also to highlight the local charm, attractions, and events of the region.
