The Vinchester Inn – A Local Favorite in the Heart of Hermann, MO
Hidden just off the main stretch in Hermann’s charming historic district, The Vinchester Inn—affectionately known by locals and return guests as “The Vin”—is a boutique hotel with a personal touch. This 11-room inn strikes the perfect balance between comfort, character, and convenience, making it one of our favorite stays in Missouri wine country.
The story behind The Vinchester is part of its charm. In 2018, three sisters—Hannah, Lindsey, and Madison—took over the property from their father, Rick Hessler. Together with Hannah’s husband, Miles, they’ve transformed the hotel into a welcoming retreat that reflects their family’s warm, easygoing spirit. Since 2021, Hannah and Miles have made Hermann their full-time home and can often be spotted around town with their two kids and lovable dog, Nellie.
